The Criteria to become a member of The Ethics Pledge Program are concise, simple, and basic. Any Awards Program applying for The Ethics Pledge membership must meet the following criteria. Your site does not have to be rated by any Award Rating Site.

You must be the owner/webmaster of the Awards Program.

Your awards must not be of a give away nature.

Your Awards Program must be active.

You must have Criteria for Award Seekers to receive your award.

You must have a Privacy Statement on your Awards Program.

You must have an Evaluator Page describing who is to be evaluating the applicant sites.

Your site must have a Copyright Statement and comply with all Copyright laws.

Your site must be Family Friendly and labeled as such ( Safesurf or equivalent or statement on page that Award Program is viewable by all ages ).

You must have The Ethics Pledge ( or an ethics statement of your choosing ) installed within your Awards Program.

You must uphold and adhere to the pledge you take.

Your site must not have any profanity or offensive content nor may it be linked to any such content.

You must link the Ethics Pledge Badge to this site's URL: http://www.ethicspledge.com

You must contact this program with the location ( URL ) of the badge on your site to complete your membership process and be added to our member's page.

If you have any other Ethics Badges displayed on your site our badge must be displayed as predominately as any other badge.
